I am a landlord myself. I have a portfolio of long-term tenanted properties and I know exactly what it feels like to have a void month, to deal with an agent who does not pick up the phone, or to hand back a property that has not been looked after.

I also own and run several businesses. I have bought, grown and sold companies across different sectors. I understand contracts, I understand risk, and I understand what it means to make a commitment and keep it.

I started Calcot Living because I could see a straightforward opportunity: landlords want certainty, and there is a genuine demand from professionals, contractors and relocating employees for well-managed, short-stay accommodation near where they are working.

We take on properties on long-term company agreements. We clean and inspect every week. We deal with small maintenance issues ourselves. The landlord receives their rent by standing order every month, in advance, and does not hear from us unless there is something they need to know.
